Seamless Platform Upgrade

The entire Mition platform was seamlessly upgraded from .NET 7 to .NET 8 framework without any vulnerability or performance issues over the month of April.

Upgrades such as this show just how important true modern cloud technology is, as it allows us to offer best in breed tech solutions without any business disruption. One of the many advantages using our Mition product, no more expensive upgrades.

The .Net 8 upgrade from Microsoft includes increased security features (making sure your site is safe against current threats), performance improvements - increasing usage speeds for staff and members with a focus on mobile and Apps along with other tools to support Mition core services.

Our Development team used the upgrade as an opportunity to run further security and performance testing with impressive results.

Events Module Improvements

The new Bulk add activities feature can be used to mark event attendance for a group of attendees with a simple click and add activity point (CPD etc).

Site administrators and staff can now see all tickets across all events, allowing you to run multiple events at the same time. To support this, improvements have been made to the scan ticket feature allowing QR scanning to check-in for any event.

More Email Tags

Our email templates just like this one are advanced, there are 99 tag fields you can use for in Email Templates that will pre-populate for you. Email templates now have many User, Subscription and Invoice based tags that can be used.

We also updated the usage of these in our documentation to make them easier to find as well as explain when these are available.
