Digital Member Cards

Setup a rotating Member Card on the Dashboard. Users can see this when they first login. As all Mition Portals are mobile and desktop friendly, users can show their digital card in-person to obtain discounts. They are a great way to show loyalty to members for supporting your organisation.

You can edit and create new digital cards if you are an administrator, simply go to:

Admin Settings > Members > Digital Cards

Digital membership cards offer several key benefits:

Convenience: Digital membership cards are more convenient than traditional physical cards since members can easily store them on mobile devices. They provide the same benefits and privileges as physical cards but are easier to access.

Cost Savings: Digital cards eliminate costs associated with printing and distribution, leading to cost savings and improved profitability. Going digital saves on materials, printing services, and postage fees.

Real-Time Updates: Digital membership card software offers the flexibility to make real-time updates and modifications. Whether changing membership details, updating promotions, or adding new features, you can do it instantly.

Improved Environmental Sustainability: Digital membership cards are more environmentally friendly as they reduce the need for physical materials.

Increased Customer Engagement and Retention: Digital membership cards can enhance the member experience, promote contactless shopping, and provide a more connected customer experience.

Improved Marketing Opportunities: Digital membership cards can provide valuable data on customers’ behaviors and preferences to help improve your products and services and create more targeted marketing campaigns.

Integration with Other Digital Services: You can easily update or renew digital membership cards and link to other digital services or loyalty programs.

Please note that the specific benefits can vary depending on the features of the digital membership card system you choose to implement.

Advanced Features

-Set publish from dates and to dates.
-Use Form Tags (40+ built in tags that represent that members profile) anywhere on the front or back.

-Design the front and back card image, with a custom "swap" icon or button text. There is literally no limit to how creative you can get. There are different images for both the back and front.
-Add [Date] to show that its not a screenshot.
- Easily preview what the digital card will look like.
-Automatically allow member to see the card when they have a specific role, e.g. Member, Lifetime. If you remove the role, they no longer have access to that card.
- Card Order; although only one card shows per user maximum, you can use CardOrder to adjust the priority of which one is displayed.
- Adjust background styles, font and text colours and size with Custom Styles, the same styles you use for the website editor.

Adjusting card order, to show the most important card where members qualify for more than 1.

If you had two cards setup, one for Members with Card Order=2 and one for Lifetime Members with Card Order =1 and a member has both of these Roles, they will be displayed the card for Lifetime Members.

For back and front images, try to use a 300px (height) x 200px (width) image or an image with that size ratio as it will try to "cover" the cards, which might stretch your branding or logo if not exact.

Pro-tip: Utilise Custom Styles and use transparency in card images to get a digital membership card that can easily change the background colour with custom style classes.
