Our team have worked hard again this past financial year to grow our amazing product and support our wonderful network, the executive team could not be prouder of the achievements or the direction the Mition platform is heading. It is truly exciting to be part of such tremendous year on year growth.

This continual community growth gives 'Mition Control' the ability to keep evolving the platform for the entire network.

Over the weekend we bought our Victorian team and their families together to celebrate and congratulate them on such a brilliant financial year.

Improved Webpage Search

Over the past month the team has improved the systems webpage search significantly, a major enhancement helping members and staff find resources across your website.

This change introduces the ability for a search engine to know what a user has access to and serves content based on their access.

This change has also been extended to Document Library List on your site, the search engine can find and index the content inside most PDF documents and help your members and staff navigate to that document.

Digital Member Cards

Working closely with one of our favorite not-for-profit clients, we were able to build the new Digital Member Card feature. Giving all Mition customers the ability to link Digital Member cards to Member roles.

Customise the back and front card images, add your own text and tags e.g. Firstname ([Firstname]), Username ([Username]). There are up to 50 tags you can use including MemberSince ([MemberSince]) and AmountOwing ([AmountOwing]). These standard tags are also available in email templates (as you can see here).

These cards animate when clicked and turn around to show name / member number. Give your members a warm fuzzy feeling when they see their name and member number for the first time.

EOFY Event

Over the weekend we ran the Mition End of Financial Year event using our own product! We use Mition everyday to run both the product and the parent company Formition. This was our first time actively using the event module within our business, we are please to say it ran smoothly.

From Event Attendee register to automated communications, to a thankyou email. We were able to easily manage the entire event within our portal.

Send all the confirmed attendees a thankyou note. Using our bulk member tools; on the Attendee page, you can also add CPD activity points.

Stripe Klarna ***Important Notice***

Stripe is currently sending out notifications to their clients, which will include some of you, to inform that they will be enabling 'Klarna' on your website in a few months.

What is it? It’s a buy now – pay later offering that businesses can offer to members.

Klarna comes with increased stripe fees (increase from 1.7% + 0.30 to 4.99% + 0.55 sometime in 2025), we don't believe there is place for this offering within the Associations, NFP & and Union space and have chosen to turn it off from the Mition platform - each stripe client will need to actively turn this offer off via their portal.

We recommend you turn off and disable it on your organisations stripe payment methods:
